Real Weddings: Nikki and James at Hatton Village HallRustic. Budget. Extra-sweet and super cute.

This couple is in love and it shows – and they didn’t have to spend a bajillion dollars to show it. The aqua and red wedding details are subtle even though it’s a pretty flashy palette. These people are wedding geniuses, seriously.

This budget aqua and red wedding is perfect from top to bottom and you can see that the budget details of real weddings like this come across as sweet, not scrooge-y.

Nikki and James’ real wedding pictures are packed full of their wedding day details, so get ready to enjoy all kinds of fun real wedding pictures – the kind that inspire your own romantic, cute, budget-friendly ideas for your big day. Enjoy!

The inside of Hatton Village Hall, the couple’s wedding venue, has a rustic charm all on its own, but the aqua and red bunting adds extra sweetness.

Nikki incorporated her aqua and red theme in simple, budget-friendly ways: paper napkins in the goblets and pretty bunting that hung overhead.

In lieu of pricey charger plates, this budget-savvy bride used red and white striped paper bags that were custom-labeled. These oh-so-cute bags also doubled as wedding favors when filled with candy!

Another brilliant budget move: Candy bowl wedding table centerpieces instead of flowers. Not only is this much more cost effective than floral centerpieces, but guests filled their cute paper bags with the candies to take home as wedding favors. Adorable.

Here is another shot of the adorable aqua and red wedding bunting that decorated the hall. I just had to put another one up because I heart it SO much!

It’s always awesome to get a shot of the bride after she has settled into the wedding limo. I love her simple wedding makeup and punchy red lips, which are a subtle shoutout to her color theme.

Niki’s tea-length wedding dress features all over lace and a pretty red floral sash at the waist (that you’ll see later). Closeup detail shots like these make fantastic keepsakes for your wedding album.

How can you NOT love these funky Wizard-of-Oz-y wedding shoes? From the red glitter to the big satin bows, they are just perfect in every way.

How cute is this little blue bow pin tucked into Nikki’s wedding dress? Answer: VERY.

Nikki’s bridal bouquet consisted mainly of romantic red roses. The aqua part of her wedding theme was added with a simple ribbon. Love it.

As you can see, Nikki and James’ wedding was an intimate affair. The ceremony was not splashy, just a small collection of the couple’s closest friends and family. Here we also get a glimpse of Nikki’s wedding ensemble from top to bottom.

Pretty much the only decor at the couple ceremony were these vases. They are unique because the bouquets actually rest atop the vases while strands of grass swirl down the interior. Very cool.

Candid shots like these are the perfect way to capture your post-wedding emotions. These two are obviously happy, excited, and so in love it’s making them giddy!

Love this bird’s-eye view of the wedding guests, together with the newlyweds. If your wedding is small enough – or your photographer can get high enough! – this is a definite must-have for the wedding album.

Here is a keepsake photo of the couple’s wedding rings placed on top of their cute candy favor bags that were simply decorated with a personalized label. Just love it.

This bride has sass! Here halter tea-length wedding dress is funky, just like her whole awesome wedding. The red ribbon around her waist adds pop and the flowers are a cute touch (and, of course, THE SHOES!!!).

James is looking completely adorable here – casual but classy.

Here is a closeup of the groom’s boutonniere in the couple’s signature colors. James and Nikki’s photographer had a flair for capturing the coolness of this couple’s budget wedding against the location’s rustic backdrop.

This charming brick wall is the perfect backdrop for a few romantic wedding photos. I especially love the play on focus here.

James and Nikki chose a gorgeous location for their wedding that gave them all kinds of amazing backdrops for their pics.

Nikki and James wisely chose a budget wedding friendly single-tier wedding cake. The white cake is decorated with flowers and ribbons in the couple’s signature aqua and red color scheme.

Okay, seriously?!? Could these two be any cuter? I think not!

Nikki’s bridesmaids were allowed to choose their own apparel – another genius budget move. Here is Nikki and a bridesmaid having fun twirling in their dresses. Remember how much fun twirling in fancy dresses used to be? Something else to look forward to on your wedding day!

I just had to include this shot – not only is Nikki totally adorable but her mum’s fascinator is off the hook!

Here is a closeup of the corsages worn by Nikki’s bridesmaids and mum – a lovely way to distinguish the wedding party and VIPs without forcing them into attire they don’t already own.

As the light softens, it’s wonderful to get some additional shots. How romantic is this one?!? Love it.

This wedding picture is becoming more and more popular, but even if you think it might be cliche, you gotta admit it’s super cute. When you can capture your love AND your wedding details in one shot, that’s a winner.

What is with these headless hand-holding wedding shots? I just love them! They are so artsy and fresh and lovely and every bride should have one!

Newlyweds kissing while dapples of light peek through the trees. Perfection. Serious wedding kudos and love to you, Nikki and James!
