Looking through these real wedding pictures is a bit like being flown into a dreamy world where time stands still and you’re warmed by a glowing sunset. This wedding is truly an inspiration for brides who want an outdoor wedding with country charm and a real down home vibe.

The ultimate farm wedding footwear: vintage-inspired boots.

These pomanders – made from multicolored hydrangea and a pretty plum-colored ribbon – marked the start of the bride’s “aisle.”

Bagpipers led the bridal procession, just ahead of Katherine’s bridesmaids.

Katherine chose to be escorted on horseback down the “aisle.”

I’m digging the earthy vibe of this moss covered flower girl basket and equally mossy ring bearer pillow. So cute.

The bride and groom said their vows in a tranquil grove of trees under flowers suspended from the branches above.

Love the closeup up the bride clutching sweet wildflowers against her new hubby’s chest… and you can just see Ian’s awesome organic-feel boutonniere.

Katherine and Ian’s wedding colors were echoed in Katherine’s gorgeous bouquet, which featured lavender roses, green wildflowers, peonies, and white and blue orchids. Stunning.

The earthy farm feel was captured with these wheat grass place cards that doubled as wedding favors.

What a fun shot of Katherine and Ian’s wedding guests. Tables surrounded a beautiful swimming pool and off to the side was an ivy-covered dance floor.

The reception tables were decorate simply with glass candleabras, flowers, and ribbons on the chair backs. Who needs a bunch of decoration with a backdrop this beautiful?

Hydrangea in delicate glass rose bowls were suspended from shepherd’s crooks that delineated the wedding reception area.

Um, Tigger cake? Why, certainly! This couple showcased their quirky style with this fun wedding cake that is a serious break from tradition.

Before the sun went down, the wedding guests got to enjoy a few outdoor games with the happy couple. Here is the groom challenging his peeps to a round of horseshoes.

…and here is the bride playing croquet with her ladies! Such a fun idea and the perfect way to take advantage of the view and the space.

Katherine and Ian made an impression at their wedding reception with their sweet moves.

Talk about a gorgeous setting for your wedding reception. As the sun set, candles were lit around the perimeter of the pool.

Katherine and Ian gave out more favors: cute jordan almonds snug in nests and wrapped up in tulle and blue ribbon.

Love this back shot of Katherine and Ian arm-in-arm. What a gorgeous train! Such a beautiful way to cap off a wedding – walking with your love into the sunset. And they lived happily ever after. <3

  1. The wedding looks amazing and I really like the theme of the celebration. It is an inspiring celebration and absolutely interesting since you don’t see weddings in farms all the time. You transformed the whole place and made it look really special.
