Con: Price. While the knot wedding shop’s prices are often competitive, they aren’t always the lowest ones you’ll find. This is a big deal considering that you can find almost any of their items at different online wedding shops. Pro: Product Reviews. Because the knot wedding store is so dang popular, you’ll find that many of the products they sell have collected quite a few reviews from real brides who have actually purchased those items… not so much with many other wedding shops online that are less popular.

That’s great news for you, because you’ll get insider info on the quality of an item, the durability, if it’s as nice as it looks in the picture, whether the sizes run a little small, etc. That means you can make a more informed purchase decision, which is always a good thing on a limited wedding budget!

Con: Unique? Meh. The knot.com shopping is designed for most brides, which means that the most popular products are available. So, if you’re looking for something a little different that no one has ever seen before, you might be disappointed.

The knot wedding shop is ideal for things that you’re sure you’ll need, like personalized wedding napkins, bridesmaid gifts that work for all of your girls, cute reception supplies, and popular (but still adorable) wedding favors like personalized chocolates. For more uniqueness, try places like Etsy or other online wedding stores.

Pro: Easy to Use. The Knot Wedding Shop is set up very well in terms of navigation, so it’s never difficult to drill down to what you’re looking for. They also have a handy search feature you can use if you want to see if they have exactly what you want. The site overall is very easy on the eyes and makes for a very pleasant shopping experience!

Con: Customer Service Limitations. When we have shopped at The Knot.com before, we’ve run into some snags… like limited-quantity clearance items that we ordered but turned out not to be available. Also, the knot wedding store ONLY ships to the U.S. So if you aren’t an American bride, or you don’t know anyone in the States who you could ship things to and then have them sent to you, you might be out of luck. (Or you can try a service that gives you a US mailing address and then ships things to you. Just Google for options.)

Of course, if you aren’t buying limited-quantity clearance items and if you live within the United States, you should be a-okay. We’ve spoken with their customer service people over the phone and via email, and they have been friendly and helpful.

The Knot Wedding Shop Review: Bottom Line

Overall, The Knot Wedding Shop is a really great place to shop. They have all the most popular items you’ll require for your wedding and the interface is easy and (dare I say) fun to use. The only real issues you’ll encounter is if you’re looking for something really out of the box, in which case you’ll have to go elsewhere. And the prices are reasonable, but even better if you take advantage of a sale or use a coupon (see link above).
