Wedding Countdown Checklist – 3 Months to Go!
Only three months till your wedding! It’s getting very close now! Use these handy lists to make sure you’ve got your bases covered.
Order your wedding favors or if you’re DIYing them, get going! (Shop for this season’s trendiest wedding favors on sale at The Knot.)
Order any other personalized products, such as monogrammed cocktail napkins, place card holders, and other special touches. (We got our napkins from The Knot as well and they were simply beautiful. Get yours now.)
Time to buy your wedding day lingerie to wear under your dress, as well as your shoes. You want to get this done before your first fitting so that your seamstress will know exactly which adjustments to make.
Go shopping for gifts for your bridesmaids, groomsmen, child attendants, parents, and any other VIPs. And don’t forget about your groom! Decide with your man whether you’re exchanging gifts so you’re both on the same page. If gifts aren’t your thing, perhaps you could do something extra special together on your honeymoon.
Put any final touches on your wedding invitations. Affix postage, check for typos, and be sure each envelope contains all necessary elements. It’s almost time to send them!
Start creating your ceremony programs or talk to your stationer to do it for you. (Don’t have a favorite stationer yet? Get ready to fall in love with Wedding Paper Divas.)
It’s time for your honey (or you 😉 ) to select tuxedos for himself, his groomsmen, and his ring bearer. Get inspired at sexy-yet-affordable Dessy.
Once your groom has chosen his tuxedo, send him to the store to get his tuxedo measurements taken.
If you’re planning to arrange babysitting for the reception, start looking into it now. Poll guests of little ones to see what they’d prefer.
Ensure you have all necessary honeymoon documentation, such as tickets, your passport, immunization records, etc. Be aware that if your last name on your ticket is different from the one on your passport or other ID, you will need to bring your marriage certificate with you to prove you changed your name. FYI: passports can take awhile to get, so if you don’t have yours yet, start the process ASAP.
