Wow, time flies when you’re getting married! Six more weeks and you’ll be walking down that aisle! Use these handy lists to make sure you’ve got your bases covered.

Grooms, shop for your accessories. Cufflinks, shoes, etc. Don’t forget a nice pair of underwear and some hole-free dress socks!

Reserve your wedding transportation. Confirm the times and be sure the company doesn’t get confused with a.m./p.m. (I know a bride whose limo showed up on Friday at 12:00a.m. to pick the couple up from the reception, when their wedding wasn’t until Saturday. Invite people to give toasts. This may include your maid of honor and/or best man, parents, M.C., etc.

Figure out your photography/videography wishlist of must-take moments and poses. Arrange a meeting with your photographer to go over the list with you. Bring an extra copy to your meeting so they have one to bring with them on the day of.

Have your final meeting with your officiant before the rehearsal to cover any last-minute requests/issues, if required. Confirm rehearsal date, time, and location.

Write your wedding vows.

Get your bridal accessories together and in one place. This may include a veil and/or hair accessory, garter, jewelry, stockings, shoes, and your “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.”
