Your Post-Wedding Checklist – Final To-Dos for Mr. & Mrs!
Hope you’re enjoying your newly married bliss! But hey, there are still one or two more things to take care of, so use this list to make sure you’ve got your bases covered.
Before you go on your honeymoon, arrange for a little alone time with your parents to tell them how much you love them and how grateful you are for all their help. Sometimes parents feel a little left out on the big day, so it’s important to remind them you still think they’re #1.
Freeze the top layer of your wedding cake if you plan on honoring the tradition of eating some on your first anniversary.
Save mementos from the day. You may have had personalized napkins, cute confetti on the tables, or a leftover favor or two. These will make priceless additions to your scrapbook or wedding keepsake box.
If desired, have your wedding dress preserved. Your daughter may want to wear it some day! We love American Bridal’s gown preservation kit.
Love every second of your honeymoon!
When you’re back from your honeymoon (or sooner if you wish), post some wedding pics on Facebook or an online photo sharing site such as The Wedding Lens. Trust me, your guests will be dying to see your photos!
Write and send your thank-you notes as soon as you’re back from your honeymoon, or sooner if you aren’t taking your honeymoon just yet. The faster they’re off your plate, the sooner you can stop worrying about them. Don’t have your thank-you notes? Get stunning ones from Wedding Paper Divas – we have coupon codes here.
Double-check that all your wedding bills have been paid.
Start thinking about putting together wedding photo albums for yourself, your parents, your grandparents, and any other people you’d love to give one too. Make it easy with custom photobooks by Mixbook.
Watch for your bridal registry completion coupon and use it to save money on purchasing any registry items you didn’t get but still really want.
Love and cherish your spouse and enjoy your life as newlyweds!
