Top 10 Wedding Movies (Your FI Will ACTUALLY Watch With You) – Part II
← Continued From Top 10 Wedding Movies (#10 to #6)
#5: The Five-Year Engagement
Tom and Violet (Jason Segel and Emily Blunt) run through a series of hiccups on their loooong walk to the altar.
Your man will love: This movie was also created by the directors of Bridesmaids, so you’ll both love the fab cast and sincerely huge belly laughs.
#4: The Wedding Singer
Robbie (Adam Sandler) and Julia (Drew Barrymore) are both engaged – to the wrong people. Set in the 80’s, there’s lots of awesome comedy and even awesomer outfits. 🙂
Your man will love: Classic Adam Sandler humor and a non-stop flashback to the splendor that was 80’s music, 80’s outfits, and grandma’s version of Rapper’s Delight.
#3: Bridesmaids
Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph (SNL) star in this super hilarious look at friendship and love as one friend is getting married while her best friend is falling apart. One of the funniest wedding movies EVER.
Your man will love: The awesome cast with some of his favorite stars from SNL, The Office, and more. Seriously funny and not at all a chick-flick, considering the title and nearly all-female cast. Oh, and he’ll probably love the diarrhea scene, too. 😛
#2: Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
Connor (Matthew McConaughey) is an anti-marriage serial bachelor who is haunted by old girlfriends on the eve of his big brother’s wedding, after running into his childhood friend, Jenny (Jennifer Garner), whom he has secretly loved for as long as he can remember.
Your man will love: A lot of pretty sexy humor (and you will love a lot of pretty sexy Matthew McConaughey ;))
#1: Wedding Crashers
Seriously, this is the best wedding movie ever. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn play two divorce lawyers who spend “wedding season” crashing weddings to sleep with girls. Everything’s going great – until they both fall in love.
Your man will love: Everything about this movie – from the crazy-funny scenes to the happy ending. It’s all awesome. If you’ve already seen this bad boy, watch it again. And again. 🙂
