Wedding Countdown ChecklistWow, it’s all coming together in 48 short hours! So exciting! Use these handy lists to make sure you’ve got your bases covered.

Your wedding festivities are probably starting today or tomorrow. Make sure you enjoy yourself! Remember that now is the time to let your helpers and paid pros take over. Let someone else micro-manage so you can enjoy your weekend.

Double-check that everyone has their to-do lists. If someone says something needs to be done, delegate. Your to-dos are over (well, except for these last fun few)!

Purchase any flowers that your florist isn’t handling. If possible, refrigerate them so they can stay fresh.

If you like shopping and you haven’t bought your honeymoon lingerie yet, have a little fun picking out some hot little items for his eyes only. Check out Wicked Temptations.

Try to get a solid 8 hours of rest both tonight and tomorrow night. You’ll look more refreshed on the big day if you get your beauty sleep 2 nights in a row. Be sure to set your alarm clock!

Get your manicure and pedicure the day before. Pick up some clear nail polish so you can reapply a top coat to ensure your nails stay beautiful through your entire wedding weekend. (Thanks for the genius tip, mom!)

Enjoy your wedding rehearsal. To avoid stress, make sure you show up early. If you tend to be late for things, plan to be there 30 minutes earlier than you think you need to be. That way you’ll definitely be on time! Ask your officiant any questions you may still have. Confirm where the receiving line will happen.

Add items from any website on the internet onto one universal gift registry

Have loads of fun at your rehearsal dinner. Don’t forget to bring attendant gifts, parent gifts, and any other presents for special helpers, if this is when you plan to give them out. Also remember to bring your speech, if you’re giving one.

Remind yourself to remember the little moments. Don’t be the bride who says the weekend went by in a blur. If you breathe and consciously tell yourself to be present and enjoy every second, you’ll have far more memories to cherish.

Set aside some alone time for you and your FI. Exchange gifts and some tender words before the big day. If you can, sneak off for a quick, simple, and fun date – ice cream, a walk with your dog, or a trip to the arcade.

And hey! Congratulations to you and your FI as you start your journey as husband and wife! xoxo
